Welcome to the Buddy Walk!
I’m Kevin and this is my son Tyler. Our family is proud to be part of the National Down Syndrome Society’s Buddy Walk program because it’s meant so much to us and our son, Tyler. Tyler is fun, smart and silly. He loves to play with his sister, dance, and go to school. And he also happens to have Down syndrome.
Tyler has taught us that people with Down syndrome are more LIKE the rest of us than they are different. They have feelings, talents and dreams just like everyone. And they deserve to be accepted and appreciated for who they are and what they contribute to our communities.
